We continually review the risks faced by our members to ensure our products and services continue to meet our members’ changing needs. We recognised that, due to the ageing clerical population, private health care was becoming prohibitively expensive for some of our members and long absences as a result of illness were impacting on parishes and communities. In response, we worked with the Catholic National Mutual Ltd. to create a private healthcare trust.
The CNM Healthcare Trust is available via the CCIA to all Catholic dioceses and orders regardless of membership of the CCIA insurance scheme. The Trust is managed by the Private Health Partnership, (‘PHP’), and provides private health cover for those clergy and religious within a diocese or order who require it, together with lay employees at the discretion of the diocese/order.
